Lyre-Shape Thumb (Wide)

A Wide lyre thumb stick handle is named for its resemblance to the ancient lyre musical instrument. The thumb rests in the central "V" of the fork with a wide rest to allow for a gun to be rested, but traditionally with fingers wrapping around the lower parts of the handle for a firm and supportive grip during walks, especially on rugged or uneven terrain.
