Solid English Acacia Regency Stick Handle Blank

English Acacia wood, also known as Black Wattle, is a durable, hard, and water-resistant wood with a distinctive grain. It's a popular choice for furniture, flooring, and outdoor applications due to its strength, beauty, and resistance to decay. Its water-resistant properties mean it won't warp readily and is highly resistant to fungus. All wood used is UK sourced and UK grown.

Product Description

A crafted handle blank made from natural wood enabling the buyer to finish. Each handle is finished 'oversized' to allow for waste material to be removed and attach to a shank up to an inch and a quarter in thickness.

How to use

Simple tools and a bit of work will soon have your handle ready to fit to a suitable shank.

I recommend and use a traditional peg and socket joint. I do not recommend or use threaded rods. Wood is a natural material and should be allowed to move and flex. Using a threaded rod does not allow natural movement of the wood therefore is liable to cause breakout.
