English Apple wood is highly prized for walking stick handles for its exceptional density, tight grain, and beautiful coloration. It provides a strong, durable, and comfortable grip, making it an excellent choice for crafting both functional and highly decorative cane handles. All wood used is UK sourced and UK grown.

Product Description

A crafted handle blank made from natural wood enabling the buyer to finish. Each handle is finished 'oversized' to allow for waste material to be removed and attach to a shank up to an inch and a quarter in thickness.

How to use

Simple tools and a bit of work will soon have your handle ready to fit to a suitable shank.

I recommend and use a traditional peg and socket joint. I do not recommend or use threaded rods. Wood is a natural material and should be allowed to move and flex. Using a threaded rod does not allow natural movement of the wood therefore is liable to cause breakout.
